Treasures Befitting a King

When we look at Matthew, Chapter 2, (verse 1) we are told that the king at that time in Bethlehem, was Herod. And it continues that,

“in that day, there came wise men from the East….”

Who were traveling, following a star.

And they knew what (who) they were searching for because verse 2 tells us they asked,

“where is He that is born the King of the Jews.”

I've Got My Orders!

As the baton passed this past week from one Patriarch to the next Man of God in my family of Levites, the Lord was sure to also give new orders to the Leaders in our family that will continue to carry their Mantels under new Oversight, (not restricted to my family only) in this New Year that is upon us.

As the history of our Patriarch this Mighty Man of God was eulogized, our David, the Rev. Esic Rhodes, Jr., son of our families’ Abraham, his fath...

As I was lying in my bed this morning, looking back at years of “T...

Facing the Giant

I watched an old movie last night that was referred to me by one of my Ministry Partners, Minister & Prophetess Cynthia Hooks. I’d never seen it before but I just ‘happened’ to ‘coincidentally’ find it in my daughter’s DVD archives, called, “Facing the Giants”.

So, needless to say, I was obedient to the word of the Lord through this Prophetess, and I watched that movie last night.

And I was so inspired and lifted up by this movi...

You hear me use the parable of the lepers quite often; where I highlight that 1 leper out of the 10 (from the New Testament Book of Luke, Chapter 17) who after they had been healed by Jesus and were on their way, turned back and sought Jesus to thank Him for healing him. His primary intention was simply and only to express his gratitude for what Jesus had done for him.

Not only was this an encouragement to Jesus who suffered sometime judgment and criticisms from those around Him, especi...

“My servant Moses [is] not so, who [is] faithful in all mine house. With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches;..” Numbers 12:1-2

Numbers 12:1 tells us that God was very proud of His servant Moses. He said at this time, that He’d found him ‘faithful’.

“And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of th...

The NOW of Life

Well, I dropped my daughter off at the airport this morning and it was drama all morning. From the time she woke up until…well, she’s still waiting at her connection at LAX, on her way to visit her brother and sister-in-law in Hawaii whom she hasn’t seen for two years.

Well it all started when I woke up this morning to make sure she was up and ready to go. But she abruptly informed me she had inaccurately given me the departure time for her flight and that she had an a...

Thank You for Your Prayers

I want to thank everyone who was in prayer with me last weekend as we all faced the unexpected 8.9 earthquake and the following Tsunamis in Japan and neighboring countries, including Hawaii.

I am always talking to you about Fasting & Prayer.  I spend a lot of time addressing the issue on facebook and on many of our Teleconferences.  And here is an example of why we need to remain fasted and prayed up as I sometimes say to you.  When Jesus spoke to the disciples ...

My 2010 Testimony

Posted on January 12, 2011 at 1:25 PM Comments comments (0)

As I sit in this first month of 2011, I am in awe of the whirlwind that I have just come through beginning from the end of 2009 throughout 2010.

There is no way that I can share everything that I have personally experienced, endured, suffered and come through in my family from the death of one of my younger sisters (Karen) of a stroke in 2009, to watching my children grow in their spiritual maturity in God, to the battle I am fighting in my own he...
